Daughters Who Dare

is an inclusive, safe space,

filled with

HOPE, HONESTY and HUMOUR

for anyone who had to learn or is still learning

how to navigate a relationship

with a narcissistic parent.

It’s called Daughters Who Dare because

that’s what I am…that’s who I am.

That’s not you? Don’t go!

This is a place for everyone -

partners, children, colleagues and friends

wanting to listen, learn and understand

what it means

to be the child of a narcissist.

Who are we?

My story in a nutshell.

I am a 58 year old writer, wife and mother of three who planted my American roots in the Yorkshire countryside around 30 years ago. Although I have been putting pen to paper, writing a daily blog for over 11 years, I decided to pursue another passion and realise yet another dream.

It’s time.

For many years, I have wanted to write about this, speak about this and create a community of like minded souls.

I am incredibly proud to be the woman I have become.

I live out loud in spite of it all.

I am a daughter who dares to speak my truth, who dares to live with hope rather than fear and who dares to laugh (even through the tears).
